Welcome to the House of PSO Global!

Princess Sherifa Okai is a policy advisor, equity strategist, and global advocate dedicated to building equitable systems and empowering the next generation of women leaders.

Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, she immigrated to the United States in 2008 as the only daughter among five brothers and the first in her immediate family to attend college. Her journey is rooted in resilience, faith, and an unwavering commitment to breaking barriers for others.

In 2011, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. Over more than a decade of service across the United States, Japan, Guam, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the United Kingdom, she has built a career defined by cross cultural leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational transformation. She currently serves as an Equal Opportunity Strategic Advisor for the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) in North Chicago, Illinois.

Princess’s impact extends far beyond any single organization. She has mediated hundreds of workplace conflicts, guided senior leaders through complex and high stakes decisions, and played a key role in a multinational climate assessment across a coalition of 30 nations, helping shape strategic recommendations for senior leadership at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Joint Warfare Centre.

Her contributions have earned her some of the highest distinctions in her field, including Equal Opportunity Professional of the Year awards at both the Air Force District of Washington and United States Air Forces in Europe level, as well as the Presidential United Service Organizations (USO) Bronze Medal for her commitment to service members.

She holds three Associate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Human Resources, a Master of Public Policy, and a Master of Business Administration, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Law and Policy at Northeastern University.

At her core, Princess is driven by purpose. She is passionate about uplifting women, advocating for those who feel unseen, and reminding the next generation that their background does not limit their future. It can be the very foundation of their power. Through her global advocacy and engagement with the United Nations Association community, she continues to shape policies, build inclusive systems, and inspire others to lead, influence, and transform the world around them.
